Give it to the kids

Download David Lynch and Donovan discussing Transcendental Meditation with Edward Stourton on Radio 4 this morning. Whenever anyone faintly 'creative' is invited on to Today they sound as if they've been summoned by the Headmaster to explain their anti-social behaviour.

Things I remember from the huge wall of Lynch's scribbled-on post-its and hotel notepaper at the Fondation Cartier in May:

"stamp on bees larvae in yard laughing"

"COFFEE a dog is eating turkey"

i wish i'd seen it but paris was too expensive. i feel like i'm 13 when i think of him, in terms of both my crush and how much i have yet to learn and enjoy and understand, or try to, about the world.

I often approach new stuff by my favourite people half expecting to be let down, but him I trust completely every time from the outset. And I can't see that ever changing.

Do you mind if I add you? I like being amused by these post-its, and am not sure why I didn't ask this sooner when [info]miss_newham pointed out to me a picture of a cat in an owl bin you posted ages ago.

Please do. I seem to be a very low-output sort of fellow at the moment though.
